One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. 14/2/25 – Roses are Red

A florist only sells three varieties of flowers (roses, peonies and pansies) in three different colours (red, white and yellow). If there is a total of 72 flowers, how many YELLOW PEONIES are there?

  • There are twice as many white flowers as roses
  • The number of white peonies equals the number of yellow flowers
  • One quarter of the roses are red
  • There are twice as many white peonies as red pansies
  • The number of red flowers is twice the number of white pansies
  • There are twice as many peonies as white roses
  • There are no yellow roses and seven white pansies
