One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. Our quizzes and conundrums are updated regularly, so do check back on the page for the latest content, and if you get really good at them, why not find out what your IQ is by booking a Mensa Supervised IQ Test?

22/11/24 – End of Year Exam

A student’s end of year exam counts three times as much as their end of term tests.

Her results in these tests are:

TERM 1 = 67%

TERM 2 = 62%

TERM 3 = 75%

To pass the year a student must average 70%.

What score must she attain in her end of year exam to reach this average?

Answer = 72%
To pass she needs 6 x 70 = 420 marks. She has 204.
So she needs a score of 216 ÷ 3 = 72%
