SIGs

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and e-SIGs

British Mensa has more than 100 SIGs and they’re brilliant! They’re proposed and headed by members, to share interests, enthusiasms and passions on particular subjects. They all produce their own newsletters, and many run other activities such as events or online discussions. You don’t have to be an expert – all you need is an interest in the subject. If you don’t just join SIGs, but join in, you’ll enjoy them even more. And you can propose a new SIG if you’ve got an idea for one.

You can join as many SIGs as you want, free, and receive their newsletters as PDFs via email. That’s potentially up to 300+ free newsletters a year, and the chance to hook up with hundreds or even thousands of other Mensans who share your interests. If you want to see whether a SIG is for you, just join the SIG and you will then be able to view any available newsletters, and future newsletters will be sent directly to your inbox.

You can change your SIG memberships at any time. Membership is administered, and newsletters are sent out, from our Head Office. If you have any questions about your SIG membership, contact the office at: sigs@mensa.org.u
