Test Yourself
Curious about your IQ? Whether you’re interested in finding out if you can qualify for Mensa membership or want to see how you compare to others, an IQ test will settle the score.
To qualify for membership of Mensa, you must demonstrate an IQ in the top two percent, either through taking our supervised test or submitting prior evidence. If you’re not quite ready for the supervised test, you can build up to it through taking our free online workout and then the Mensa Home Test. You can find out more about the different options below.

Online workout
-
Take our free online workout to get an indication of how well you might do in an IQ test. It won’t provide you with an IQ score but it will give you up to 15 minutes of questions to enjoy.

Mensa Home Test
-
The Mensa Home Test is a 45-minute assessment that you can do in the comfort of your own home. Send it back to us and we will send you your indicative score, which will give you a good idea of how you might do on the full test.

Supervised IQ Test
-
Every year, thousands of people* take a Mensa Supervised IQ Test at test centres throughout the British Isles. Once marked, you will receive your IQ score and anyone placed in the top two percent will be invited to join Mensa.

Prior evidence
If you have already been assessed as having an IQ in the top 2%, evidence of this can often be accepted for membership of Mensa. Once eligibility of the evidence has been confirmed, we will issue an invitation to join Mensa.
As Mensa is unable to test anyone aged under 10 and a half, applications for all younger children need to be made via submitting prior evidence.
Evidence may include:
- A full educational psychologist’s report
- Documentary evidence of an IQ test not taken via Mensa
