We’re sorry but you’re not able to access Mensa Community
Access to Mensa Community is restricted to members who are over 18 years old.
Below you can find out about the different ways in which our younger members can get involved in Mensa.
Publications and SIGs
Mensa produces a variety of publications for members, ranging from the glossy IQ member magazine to our member-produced Special Interest Group (SIG) newsletters. Many of these publications can also be viewed online here in the members’ area, so you can keep up-to-date with Mensa wherever you are.
Submissions for Mensa Magazine should be sent to the Editor: editor@mensa.org.uk
There are over 100 Special Interest Groups which you can subscribe to, covering a variety of topics from Film to Travel, from Philosophy to Football, from History to Cooking there is something for everyone. Recent SIG newsletters will be added to the website shortly.
You can also read copies of Mensa International’s monthly publication the Mensa World Journal.
Potential Plus UK
We work very closely with Potential Plus UK to represent the interests of children with high learning potential and to advocate for them on a wider stage.
The parents and carers of our members aged 18 and under are also eligible for free associate membership of Potential Plus, giving them access to an even wider range of events and resources. For more information, visit: www.potentialplusuk.org
Helping teenagers to aim high
Every year, we host the Young Mensans’ Future Paths conference, which aims to demystify the process of applying to and studying at Oxford or Cambridge universities.
As well as the chance to talk directly to admissions tutors from both universities, the event includes inspirational speakers and the chance to look round one of the historic colleges.
