One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. What are the values of the letters in the circles given that the numbers in the boxes are the sum of adjacent circles?

a = 11, b = 16, c = 19
a + b = 27 so a = 27 –b
a + c = 30 so a = 30 – c
30 – c = a = 27 – b so c = b + 3
b + c =35 so 2b + 3 = 35, hence b = 16
