One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. 2/9/25 – Bike Shop

A bike shop owner sells unicycles, bicycles and tricycles. He currently has in stock:

  1. Four times as many bicycles as he has unicycles
  2. A total of 100 cycles
  3. A total of a 210 wheels

How many cycles of each type does he have?

Unicycles = 15, Bicycles = 60, Tricycles = 25

Set up and solve the equations B = 4U
U + B + T = 100, 5U + T = 100 (number of cycles)
U + 2B + 3T = 210, 9U + 3T = 210 (number of wheels)
