One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. Our quizzes and conundrums are updated regularly, so do check back on the page for the latest content, and if you get really good at them, why not find out what your IQ is by booking a Mensa Supervised IQ Test?

22/2/25 – Rubik’s 101

Mr White and Mr Black can both complete the Rubik’s Cube.

Mr White can complete 14 cubes in 25 mins.

Mr Black can complete 19 cubes in 28 mins.

If Mr White starts solving cubes at 9.30am and Mr Black begins 15 mins later, do they manage to solve 101 cubes between them by 11am?

Mr White = 14 ÷ 25 x 90 = 50.4 Cubes
Mr Black = 19 ÷ 28 x 75 = 50.9 Cubes
No as they both complete 50 and a bit – but they can’t work on the same cube simultaneously.
