A father is FIVE times the age of his son.

In seven years’ time, he will be just THREE times his age.

How old will the father be when the son is as old as the father is now?

Answer = 63
If the son is x years old, then the father is 5x in seven years’ time 5x + 7 = 3(x + 7)
x = 7, father is currently 35, son = 7
when the son is 35, the father will be 63.
