One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. 27/4/25 – Pencil Case

I have four, differently coloured, pencils. Each pencil is a different length. From the clues below can you work out the length of each pencil?

  1. The sum of the blue, red and yellow pencils is 28cm
  2. The yellow pencil is equal in length to the sum of the blue and green pencils
  3. The yellow pencil is 7cm longer than the red pencil
  4. The sum of the blue, green and red pencils is 23cm
