One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. Our quizzes and conundrums are updated regularly, so do check back on the page for the latest content, and if you get really good at them, why not find out what your IQ is by booking a Mensa Supervised IQ Test?

28/10/24 – Alpha to Omega

Identify the odd one out in each set of words or numbers (the logic is different for each set). Then combine them to create a common phrase.

Set 1: BLACK, GRIPE, TRASH, SPINE, FIRST, PLANE

Set 2: 20, 15, 2, 12, 9, 21

Set 3: FLOW, LAST, DRAY, NUTS, EVIL, PART

FIRST – drop the first letter of each word and you can still make a recognised word eg black = lack
2 – is the only Prime Number in the list
LAST – all the other words spell a new word when read backwards eg wolf = flow
