One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. Two cyclists, Big Mig and Badger, set off at the same time, from the same spot, to complete a journey of 60 miles.

If Big Mig cycles at 18mph

And the Badger cycles at 16 mph

How far will the Badger still have to travel when Big Mig has completed the journey?

6 2/3 miles. To travel 60 miles at 18mph takes 3hrs 20mins, at 16mph takes 3hrs 45mins. The Badger will have 25 mins left to travel. This is 5/12 of 16 miles.
