One activity that many of our members enjoy is puzzling! You can test yourself for fun with our brainteasers. 7/10/24 – Bottled It

A drink comes in three different sized bottles, small, medium and large. If each shelf holds exactly 10 litres, what is the volume of each bottle?

Large = 3 litres, Medium = 1½ litres, Small = 1 litre.

From shelves one and two, 2 Medium bottles equal 3 Small. Therefore shelf three can be rewritten 1 Large + 7 Small = 10. We know from shelf two, 2 Large + 4 Small = 10. So 1 Large = 3 Small, 1 Small = 1 Litre
