Below are two parts of the same sequence.

A:      3, 13, 4, 1, 5, 13

B:       8, 1, 9, 19, 10, 15

Part A can be extended by placing the same number before and after the section of sequence shown.

Similarly, Part B can be extended in the same way, only using a different number.

What is the difference between these two added values?

The first sequence can be enclosed by 6. The second sequence can be enclosed by 11. So the answer is 5 (11 – 6).
This is a sequence about months of the year. Each month is given two values (it’s position in the calendar and its initial letter’s position in the alphabet). So January = 1, 11 (as J is the 11th letter in the alphabet). The full sequence is as below.
