A new digital space for Mensa members

We’re delighted to have launched this month our new digital space for Mensa members, Mensa Community.

Developed by the leading agency for online communities, Cantarus, Mensa Community offers a way for Mensa members to interact with each other in real time, whenever they like.

Through Mensa Community, members are able to engage with like-minded individuals, foster connections and participate in stimulating discussions on areas they’re interested in. Information and resources can easily be shared, reimagining the way our Special Interest Groups can operate and opening up new ways of communicating with volunteers and Mensa Head Office.

The online community also provides a way for members to seek advice, encouragement or assistance from their peers, enabling a supportive environment that is not limited by geographical boundaries.

Since its launch, over 1,000 members have taken to the online community and are participating in conversations on topics ranging from current affairs to art and literature.

Jenny Gill, Chairman of British Mensa, said: “I’m delighted to see so many members are already enjoying this new benefit of membership. It’s fantastic to see such enthusiastic engagement, with many members actively participating, sharing insights, and forming connections. To witness the platform serving its purpose of bringing our community together in meaningful ways is incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to continuing to support and grow this vibrant community for our members.”

Mensa members can log in to Mensa Community here and join in the conversation straight away. Once logged in, mobile users can also save the community to their phone home screen, enabling app-like notifications to easily keep up-to-date with the latest posts.

If you’re not a member of Mensa, you can find more about the benefits of Mensa membership and how to join here.
