Following an extensive selection process, the Board of British Mensa is delighted to announce the appointment of Kayleigh Mapstone as the society’s new Executive Director.

Kayleigh, who joined British Mensa as Head of Operations in February 2022 and has served as Interim General Manager since February 2025, will take up her role immediately.

Prior to joining British Mensa, Kayleigh spent 11 years at the Pharmacists’ Defence Association, the largest membership organisation for pharmacists with over 37,000 members, most recently as Head of Operations, Compliance and Business Improvement. In addition to her extensive experience in the membership sector, Kayleigh brings almost 15 years’ experience in strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, service delivery, policy development and governance, and has also served as Chair of Governors for two schools.
